Just bought a home with a crawl space. Looking into quotes for encapsulation, or if I even need it done. And does the encapsulation include insulation?

Water coming in basement appears to be coming in between old foundation and addition foundation.

Dear MMW, I met your rep on Thursday (11/15) when he placed the freeze relief function on the outside. The rep looked like Mr. Rivers but I am not sure. After he left about 6 PM, the water from the outside got through the storm entrance. The solution used to address the storm entrance did not work since the water leak passed the grate on the floor and continued into the middle of the basement. This is not a flash flood, but this water from the storm entrance is more widespread in the room than I ever had. I would attach pictures but I cannot on this form. I have Nick's email address and will send it to him. There is also a smell probably due to the open grating used inside the home. Please address what can be done. Gary

We have some mold in our basement and would like to get a free estimate for mold remediation. Our goal is to finish the basement, but first we want to have the mold removed and ensure it will not return.
